원리기반의 모형 탐색을 근본으로하는 현대과학은 궁극의 경험기반 모형을 추구하는 기계학습을 비롯한 다양한 인공지능 알고리즘을 활용하여 2019 현재 강력한 시너지 효과를 경험하고 있으며, 이 두 가지 방법론이 점점 더 밀접한 관계를 맺으며 자연탐사를 위한 새로운 융합적 방법론이 활발하게 모색되고 있습니다. 이처럼 역동적인 시기를 맞이하여, 다양한 자연과학분야에서 AI와 기계학습을 활용한 융합연구 사례들과 함께 자연과학 연구에 주효한 여러 인공지능 알고리즘들을 살펴볼 수 있는 학회를 개최하고자 합니다.
